So if this week’s episode left you hanging high and dry, don’t worry because the season finale trailer confirmed all of our hopes and dreams: Stiles is back. Back again.
We got the ultimate rush of adrenaline during this week’s pre-finale episode of Teen Wolf, which ended with a mere shadow of a dark figure emerging from a bright light. Viewers quickly began to wonder if that could, in fact, be Stiles making his grand return, and thanks to the finale teasers released throughout the week, we now know that he’ll be back to finish what he started… well, hopefully.
But in the most recent sneak peek promo released just today, we see Stiles fighting back against the powerful resistance of the rift, only to attempt to reunite with Lydia on the other side, considering we’ve been waiting for this whole Stydia thing to pan out since, I don’t know, the very first season.
BUT the season finale may not be all tears of joy… in fact; fans have been speculating that this may be Dylan’s final season of Teen Wolf considering the questionable outcome of the promos’ cliffhangers. Not to mention, one of the show’s costume supervisors, Daniel Flores, recently let it slip that Dylan had wrapped filming in December, and considering this is only the end of the first half of season 6, Dylan’s return in the remaining half of the season is now up in the air.Thankfully, Daniel was quick to insist that just because Dylan finished filming doesn’t mean he’s going to die in the winter finale.
So it may not be the confirmed news you were hoping for, but hey, it could be worse. Plus, what’s another cliffhanger to keep you on your toes, right? As for right now, I’ve gotta know what your thoughts are on Dylan’s return.
